Le Druide

A typical well established French Brassiere, the menu and wine list very good.A large coach party arrived shortly after we sat down but this did not effect the warm friendly service we received.The Fork had failed to confirm our booking with the restaurant until 5 minutes after our arrival but thankfully a table was still available for us.

The ground floor area looked lovely unfortunately we were seated downstairs up against a rather damp smelling cellar wall which was not so good! We started with a Negroni which was excellent, the first course was nice but the pasta and pizza were  really average . Sadly I don&rsquo;t think I would recommend!

The staff is very pleasant and it is very good to eat.
